What’s easier than taking an hour of your time to have fresh banana bread out of the oven every single week…or maybe daily?
I’ve been doing this since my university days. There are so many different banana breads you can buy but why not save the money and the preservatives.
Here’s my go-to recipe. This time I used chocolate chips but the options are endless.
2-3 ripe bananas
3/4 cup sugar
1/3 cup melted butter
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp of salt
1.5 cups of flour
1/2-3/4 cup chocolate chips
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Mash bananas and add melted butter
- Add sugar
- Add baking soda and salt
- Add egg and vanilla
- Add flour and then additions (such as chocolate chips)
- Bake for 45-55 mins. Let sit for 10 minutes before serving.
